The Export feasibility check
When you use the Export feasibility check, we collect:
- your answers about your product and shipment (such as product type, size, weight, quantity and destination);
- your contact details: name, email address, company (if you give it) and timeline;
- the result the tool shows you.
Why we use your information, and our legal basis
We use it to prepare your result, and to contact you about your enquiry. We do this because you asked for the result and agreed, by ticking the box, that we may contact you. You can withdraw that agreement at any time. We also have a legitimate interest in understanding what shipments buyers ask about.
Where it is stored and who sees it
Your information is stored on this website’s server in Japan and sent by email to Hinomoto Bridge. We do not sell your information. We do not share it with other parties, except where needed to answer your enquiry or where the law requires.
The tool does not send your information to any outside service and does not set tracking cookies of its own.
International transfers
We are based in Japan, and your information is stored in Japan. If you are in another country, your information is transferred to Japan when you submit the form. By submitting the form you understand this.
Spam protection
To stop automated abuse, the website keeps a scrambled (hashed) form of your IP address for about one hour. We do not store your IP address with your enquiry.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiries for 24 months, or longer if we start working together. After that we delete them.
Your rights
You can ask us to:
- show you the information we hold about you;
- correct it;
- delete it;
- restrict or stop how we use it;
- give you a copy in a portable format.
Email us at info@nippon-treasures.com. If you are in the EU or UK, you can also complain to your local data protection authority. If you live in California, you have similar rights to know, delete and correct your information, and we do not sell or share it for advertising.
